The Eureka "Boss" 4D upright vacuum cleaner is a very popular and quite capable machine, even by today's standards. Eureka has been building vacuums for many years so it is no surprise that their top of the line uprights work quite well. While it does have some positive and negative features, overall we give it a high rating. In fact, this is the very same vacuum cleaner we use to clean our home.

- A Power Paw attachment which acts like a mini vacuum. It is actually a powered brush that attaches to the hose and allows you to clean many different surfaces. We use ours every week on our furniture and stairs.
- A bagless cyclonic system means you don't have to buy expensive replacement bags. Their system quickly separates the dirt from the air and deposits it into this dust bin. It's actually fun watching the dirt spin in there as you vacuum your floor.
- The brushroll has an on/off switch so you can move from carpet to bare floor and back again by simply pressing a button.
If you have read any online reviews of this vacuum cleaner you will note some of the negative comments about it, and some of them are justified.
