The Mighty Mite also features a blower port to attach the hose to in order to move larger pieces of debris such as leaves or sawdust. On-board tools on this canister model is a six-piece attachment set that includes two cleaning wands, the hose, an upholstery nozzle, a crevice tool for cleaning small places, and also a floor dusting brush.

Pros: The Eureka Mighty Mite vacuum is said to be more than worth its reasonable cost and does very well at cleaning hardwood floors and removing dust and pet hair with ease. Many owners of this particular model report that they often use their canister vacuum far more often than their more expensive, full-size vacuum cleaner.

Most also say that because it's so lightweight, vacuuming up and down steps and under beds or furniture is far easier than with the other vacuums, both canisters and upright models, that they have owned in the past. Another favorable aspect of these cleaners is that they feature a relatively quiet motor in comparison to other vacuums.

Cons: The main drawback regarding this canister vacuum by Eureka has to do with its power cord. There is no automatic cord rewind feature and some consumers report having difficulty winding the 20 foot cord back underneath the machine when finished vacuuming.

More effective at cleaning hardwood than carpeting, consumers say that although the Eureka Mighty Mite canister doesn't clean area or throw rugs as well as other vacuums, it does do moderately well at removing dirt and dust if the rugs have been shaken or fluffed out first to loosen any dirt that may be trapped deep within the fibers.
