Oreck XL Classic Vacuum Cleaner

This is their standard vacuum and their most popular as well. It is competitively priced with other companies and comes with most options that any household would need. While it is lightweight and powerful it doesn't come with some of the other things that the higher end Oreck's come with. It comes standard with a 25 foot cord, single speed operation, XL filter knit filtration, and a 3 year warranty. This model is a nice, affordable vacuum cleaner that would do most of what you would need.

Oreck XL Deluxe Vacuum

This model is a step above the Classic in terms of the features you get. While it does cost around $100 more you do get some nice things that justify it. This is our favorite of the Oreck XL's and we always give a great review of it. If you look at any rating of comparable vacuums you usually won't find one that outranks it by much. It is easy to use and powerful, plus comes with some other nice options. These include a 5 year warranty, hypo allergenic filtration which filters out 99.9% of all nasty microns, 3 free annual tune ups, and an ergonomic handle.

Oreck XL Ultra Vacuum Cleaner

The Ultra again is just one more step over the deluxe and gives you a few more handy features. You get a full 10 year warranty, hypo allergenic filters with a 5 layer outer bag and a 3 layer inner one, a wraparound headlight, 10 free annual tune ups, and 2 speed operation. With the added features does come a higher price though, typically in the neighborhood of $549. You need to weigh the benefits against your budget to determine if it makes sense for you to buy one.

Oreck XL21 Titanium Vacuums

This lineup represents the very top of the XL upright lineup. Not only do you get all the standard features included with the other vacuum cleaners in the XL family, you get even more. With the higher price you will get a 21 year warranty, 21 free annual tune ups, HEPA Celoc filtration with a 25% increase in dust capacity, 4 layer outer bag and a 4 layer odor control inner one, a front and side headlight, 2 operating speeds, and microban antimicrobial product protection.
