Works well on my hardwood and tile floors

I have no carpets in my home so my review might be different from some of the other reviews I have read that complained about the HEPA filter. The Bissell DigiPro canister vacuum cleaner does a very good job on the vinyl, tile, and hardwood floors I have. It picks everything up and really I don’t even sweep anymore since I bought this vacuum. I have no problems with pet hair and even cat litter as needed. I just make sure the beater bar is off to not damage anything.

Another excellent quality of these canister vacuums is the lightweight design. The operation is also very quiet as compared to our prior upright and it swivels around very easily. I find the suction is fairly powerful but I can see that it might not be the best on huge areas of carpets. I’m not sure this is what the DigiPro is designed for though. The attachments are easy to use and they work great. The crevice tool gets our trim clean from all the dirt that gathers there. I find that our furniture and stairs look better than ever as well. I enjoy using the various tools to get things cleaner than I ever have been able to.

Unless you have a lot of carpeting and are concerned about the HEPA filter problems other reviewers have then I would say buy the Bissell DigiPro. I have used cheap, old canister vacuums before and this is a nice upgrade. While it might not be as great as a new Miele it isn’t nearly as expensive. For our home it works great and is a much better choice than an upright vacuum.

A little heavy but a great vacuum cleaner

Before we purchased the Bissell Total Floors Velocity upright vacuum cleaner we read many positive and negative reviews about it. Most of the bad reviews were about how heavy it was but that didn’t concern me because we were replacing our old kirby with it and that was one of the heaviest vacuum cleaners I’ve ever seen! So needless to say we decided to go ahead and purchase it. We absolutely love it.

We live in a 3 story home with hardwoods downstairs, an area rug and carpet upstairs, and berber carpeting in the basement level. It vacuums perfectly on all different surfaces. It also works great for animal hair as the turbo brush attatchment is a perfect tool for pets. I love the fact that it is a bagless vacuum so we can actually see the amount of dirt is being picked up and trust me it really sucks that dirt up. Truthfully we were a bit disgusted in the amount of dirt it was vacuuming out of our carpets.

The attachments are very easy to use and the brush is simple to turn on and off. You may find the hose a bit heavy but if you leave the vacuum cleaner at the bottom of the stairs the hose will stretch all the way up. This has been one of my favorite vacuums, I truly hope that it will last me many years. I definitely recommend it if you are not too concerned about the weight which is really not as heavy as you think it may be. I am 8 months pregnant and have no trouble carrying it up and down the stairs. Hope my review was helpful to you with your search. You will not be disappointed with the Bissell Total Floors Velocity.

Great value for the price of this vacuum cleaner

I just bought the Bissell Healthy Home upright bagless vacuum cleaner last month to replace our older Eureka that finally broke. Our family has several people with allergies so quality HEPA filtration is key on any of the vacuums we looked at. I really liked the sound of their claims of killing nearly 100% of the smallest allergens, including dust mites, so we thought we would give it a try.

For starters, the price was right and it was very easy to assemble. I was literally vacuuming the house 10 minutes after I took it out of the box. I couldn’t believe how much dirt and other stuff was left behind by our older upright as I was emptying the cup after each room. Now we do have a couple of pets who shed so we find ourselves cleaning often. We liked how easy it was to remove the dirt cup and empty it without making a mess.

These vacuum cleaners are also very quiet which is a far cry from the old model we had. Normally the cats run and hide but they hardly noticed this thing. It really doesn’t make much sound at all. And the hose is so long that you can pretty much clean your entire staircase without carrying it up the stairs. With the Turbo brush attachment you will have them free from hair in no time.

Our home also has some hard floors so we got to try out the vacuum with the brush roll turned off. Again, it works much better than our old model which would just swirl the dust all over the tile. The Bissell gets all the little dust bunnies up leaving our floors looking better than ever.

I have to give the Healthy Home a perfect 5 stars. It really does everything it is designed to do and for a low price compared to some of the other vacuums in its’ class.

A reliable vacuum cleaner that is good for the money

I bought the Bissell PowerTrak Cyclonic about two years ago. It is a bagless upright vacuum, and it has been pretty good for the money (about $100). This vacuum has been very reliable, and has done a good job of cleaning our house.

The only problem I have experienced is that the vacuum once got clogged with pet hair and required cleaning. Luckily, this Bissell model is designed well and the vacuum comes apart every easily, so cleaning was a breeze. Still, I was kind of surprised that the vacuum was clogged in the first place. It’s not like we have a lot of pet hair in our house, all we have is one cat. If you own multiple pets I would probably suggest going with a different model. But for the most part, this is a great vacuum that is very competitively priced.

One Amazing Vacuum Cleaner To Say The Least

As a person who has relied solely on used cleaners passed down to me from friends and relatives, I have never gotten much out of a vacuum in terms of quality. While I have usually been able to clean up visible pet hair and dirt from the carpets, until I bought the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser this past week, I had no idea how much other debris and unseen allergens were lurking deep within the fibers of my living room carpet.

Unable to spend a rather large $400 plus for a Dyson Animal, I have developed a variety of ways for removing pet hair from my floors as well as furniture over the years with albeit limited success. The Bissell Pet Hair Eraser comes with a whole host of attachments designed to get everything clean. After only one use I was able to lift so much hair out that had been embedded in my upholstery for years I was literally shocked. The suction power on this bagless upright vac is simply amazing, and lifted so much dirt out of my rugs in a few minutes, it looked like I had hired a professional to come and clean all of my rooms. With other vacuums I have used, the smell of pet hair often remained in the room long after vacuuming. However, after using this Bissell my home smelled fresher and cleaner than it has since I moved in. I think the HEPA filter on this baby does a great job.

The assembly as well as the operation of the vacuum cleaner are easy and clearly laid out in the manual. I didn’t need to hassle my husband for any help getting it all put together, I just did this while he was away at work one day.

One down side to it is that it is heavier than some of the other machines that I’ve owned. People who cannot lift much weight or who have to vacuum more than one level may want to consider this before buying the Pet Hair Eraser. We didn’t initially like the idea of forking over $150 for a vacuum cleaner, but once we saw the amazing results we got with the Bissell we knew it was a wise investment. I can honestly say that there will be no more ‘used’ vacuums for our family!
