The Dirt Devil Versa Power is obviously not supposed to be your main household vacuum cleaner. This is where a lot of the negative reviews I have found get it wrong. It's just not designed to deep clean your carpets. There are much larger and more expensive vacuums for that. However, it is ideal for small jobs and small spaces. It's very lightweight and has good suction power for those small messes that seem to pop up on a daily basis.

I recently bought the Dirt Devil Power Path upright vacuum to replace my worn out old bagless model that I had for a few years. It was a cheapo cleaner so I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did. It just wasn't picking up dirt like it should so I thought it was time for a new one. While Dirt Devil isn't exactly the best brand it should suit me just fine for another few years. I just can't see paying hundreds of dollars like some of the high end vacuums cost. Crazy!

I really love the Dirt Devil Tattoo Crimson Stars. We have a lot of hardwood and tile floors as well as a few smaller area rugs and this canister vacuum cleaner does an excellent job on all of them. The best feature about it is it's small and light enough to carry it up and down stairs but still powerful enough to do the job. Just a great overall machine.
I also like the retractable cord which seems pretty long. I have no problems reaching all around each room when I'm vacuuming. This is different from prior vacuum cleaners I've owned which just didn't seem to have the same reach. For such an inexpensive canister it is quite sturdy.

I wanted to buy a bagless canister vacuum that had some power but didn't have the money for a higher end one so I looked into the Dirt Devil Vision Turbo. This cleaner gets my hardwood floors very clean and does a great job on the area carpets too. My husband and I really like the auto electric cord rewind, especially since the cord is very long. We can vacuum our entire great room without switching outlets. This wasn't possible on our prior upright.
There are a couple minor things I don't like about it though. The junction where the hose meets the wand handle seems to hinder the maneuverability of the Vision when using it. It makes it hard to get into those difficult places when using the wand which is what it was designed for.

We bought the Dirt Devil Kurv handheld vacuum cleaner because we wanted something for quick pick-ups of dirt from our hardwood floors, but didn't want to always have to break out the full sized upright. These little vacuums do the job pretty good though the suction could be better.
The rubber tip prevents the machine from scratching our delicate flooring which is a plus. The power level is adequate to get most messes up but like I mentioned before it could have some more power.

If you have a lot of hard floors in your house and have multiple pets then the Dirt Devil Breeze canister vacuum is a great cleaner to have. It is very lightweight with a small footprint, and is simple to store when you are done vacuuming. My wife loves it because it is so light and rolls around with no problem but I usually strap it on my back. These relatively inexpensive vacuums do a good job around our home.
One thing we don't like about the Breeze is the suction could be a little better, especially since it has a 12 amp motor. Maybe the HEPA filter requires more, but regardless it seems like it could be more powerful.

I had been thinking about a more expensive upright for vacuuming my home but based on price and other reviews I decided to give the Dirt Devil Spinnergy a try. While I can't personally compare it to other more expensive vacuums I can say that I am fairly pleased with it. It has enough suction to get my deep carpets clean, or at least it seems so, while not being harsh on my hard floors either. The dust bin is easy to empty and always seems to be full of pet hair and other carpet fuzz. However, I still find myself having to pull this stuff out of the various hoses to keep everything running smooth.
