Like this vacuum quite a bit

My husband and I recently bought the Electrolux Harmony Ultra Quiet because we wanted a canister vacuum cleaner that could clean well but wasn’t overly loud or heavy. After a lot of looking around we found that Electrolux builds quality vacuums for much less money than some of the other top brands. I have to say that this is a well designed machine and it actually makes our vacuuming chores fun.

As advertised it has a very quiet motor and does have good suction, better than we expected. It’s simple to change the attachments and I like the different motor speed controls. The telescoping wand is also pretty long and makes reaching high places no problem. When you carry it up and down the stairs you will notice how lightweight it really is. Electrolux really builds quality canister vacuums, I have to mention that again!

My one complaint is the dust bags are small but they do a great job on dirt, dog hair, and other nasty things that build up around our house. As with other canister vacuum cleaners it really shines on the hard floors but it can tackle some carpets. We have almost all tile and hardwoods though so I can’t comment on that much. Overall it is efficient and easy to use. I will hold judgement on the durability until I’ve used it for a while.

This is my first submitted review but I felt compelled to tell others about this great vacuum. I really love the Harmony Ultra Quiet. If you don’t want to spend the money on the highend canisters then this is the model I recommend.

Electrolux is still the best vacuum

I have been using Electrolux vacuums for most of my life so when I needed a new canister I opted for their UltraSilencer Green. I liked the fact that it wasn’t big and bulky as it’s not easy for me to get up and down stairs like it used to be. I have mostly ceramic tile and wood floors with a couple carpets so I needed a vacuum cleaner that could handle everything. My house is also two stories so again, it had to be fairly lightweight.

We also have 2 dogs in our house so we prefer to have dust bags in our vacuum which the UltraSilencer does. I also like that it is built from mostly recycled materials, and boy is it quiet. It is much quieter than our last canister which I didn’t think was loud at all. Other things I like are the carrying handle, the adjustable suction, and the small footprint that it takes up. The suction adjustment is finger controlled which makes it easy to go from one floor to another. I can also tuck it away in the back of our closet with no problem when I’m done.

Underneath cabinets, chairs, beds, and against the walls are no problems with this Electrolux vacuum. I haven’t found anything I don’t like about it but I don’t expect to. The price was just right for us as well. Highly recommended.

Can’t Keep This Vacuum In Storage!

I have been using the Electrolux Ergorapido cordless vacuum cleaner for a little while now. I have to say that this is one incredible little stick and hand vac! Our family really loves it. We were looking for a machine that gave us the convenience of a fast pick up without a huge price tag. My personal opinion is the Electrolux fits this perfectly. The great reputation they have was a big factor in our buying it and I’m glad we did.

I have 2 cats, 1 dog, and 2 children so our home is busy to say the least. We also have many floor types so we are always cleaning something up. This lightweight vac is great on all surfaces like our tile, area rugs, and even hardwoods. It picks up pet hair, dirt, dust, cereal, bread crumbs, and more. Whatever you put in its’ path it will get rid of. For our house this stick and hand vac is worth every penny. I highly recommend it.

Compact and powerful, it folds up very nicely

The Electrolux EL5020A Intensity is a powerful upright vacuum cleaner that really doesn’t take up much space. In fact it is about 1/3 the size of the vacuum it is replacing in our house (an old Hoover upright). The Intensity is just as easy to push as the self propelled Hoover but much lighter, yet just as powerful.

One thing that is lacking on the Electrolux is the number of settings as compared to other vacuums. Honestly, this is a plus in my book because I never used all of those gadgets and what not. However, if you need a hose and many attachments then this isn’t the cleaner for you.

As far as cleaning ability it really does a nice job. The suction is up there with anything I’ve used. Our older carpets look better than they have in years. It also makes the transition from rug to hard floor very easily, with the touch of a button. The cord length is so-so, around 20 feet. It’s easy to retract for storage.

The thing that really sets this vacuum cleaner apart from the competition is the compact design. It can be folded up and put away in any sized closet when it’s not in use. This is not always possible with other cleaners, depending on how big they are. I recommend the Electrolux Intensity to anybody who wants a very good upright vacuum that doesn’t take up a lot of space.

Light and powerful canister vacuum cleaner

The biggest problem I have with some of the other vacuum cleaners I have owned which includes quite a few from Eureka, Kenmore, Hoover, and more is that they are heavy and loud. The Electrolux EL 6988D Oxygen on the other hand is quite lightweight and doesn’t wake our little one when she is sleeping. It is, however, quite powerful (much more so than we expected). It has very good suction and really pulls stuff up and out of your carpets when you need it. It’s also quite easy to switch the Oxygen between the bare floor and carpet setting as the control is right there on the handle. This is helpful if you have a lot of bare or hardwood floors in addition to rugs like we do. One problem I found with the bare floor attachment is that it doesn’t attach very well. It should have some sort of snap holding it on but it doesn’t. I find that it will come off once in a while during vacuuming. It really isn’t a big deal but something I felt compelled to point out.

So far this little canister is working great. It’s very easy to carry around the house and works wonders on both the floors and the furniture. It is nice having a do it all vacuum cleaner that can really clean a variety of things around the house. This is something we are not used to but definitely enjoy it.

Overall this is a great vacuum. I really like the Electrolux Oxygen for just about anything we need to clean up around our home. Our family members are impressed and we have even convinced our daughter to buy one for her new apartment. These vacuums really scream innovation and futuristic design. I actually look forward to vacuuming every week. I can only give it 4 stars though because of the problem with the bare floor attachment, but I would definitely buy another one of these if I needed.
