I bought the Miele S2120 Delphi canister vacuum cleaner about 8 months ago after doing a lot of research. My research consisted of reading reviews mostly but I also looked over the specs of many different vacuums. I even put these into a spreadsheet for quick comparison and after doing this I could tell that Miele was the way to go. While I know that it is not cheap I decided to spend the money for a vacuum that would do the job right.

I needed to buy a new canister vacuum cleaner so I spent some serious time reading up on the latest models. After reading many reviews I decided I wanted to spend the extra money and get a Miele, but I wasn't sure which one. I was fed up with buy a new cleaner every year or so and I needed something that would last a long time. Miele has the reputation for doing just that with their solid construction and overall reliability.
I use the Miele Twist everyday!

There are many options available on the Miele S7210 Twist upright vacuum cleaner depending on what you need to clean in your home. It has a switch button for hardwood floors, carpets, curtains, furniture, and more. The suction is also very powerful and I find that it powers through anything in my deep carpets. But, the biggest selling point of these vacuums and the main reason I bought it is the swivel neck. This is a great feature as it allows me to steer in any direction I need, around anything in my path. I can even lay the Twist down flat which is unlike any other upright that I looked at.

I researched canister vacuums for a long time before I decided to buy the Miele S4212 Polaris. This vacuum cleaner is actually pretty small and compact, and it doesn't weigh much either. You can put it on its' back for easy storage and use on uneven surfaces like stairs. I also find that the onboard tools work great and are easy to get to. However, the best thing I like about this Miele is the telescoping wand as I can clean my drapes and other high corners without much work.

The S5280 Callisto Galaxy is actually our second Miele canister vacuum cleaner. The first one was bought around 10 years ago and was a terrific vacuum the entire time. It would clean every floor in our home without leaving behind that telltale vacuuming odor that other models do. The suction power was always consistent and the bags were easy to replace. They never leaked any dust out which was much better than some other vacuums I have seen in action. This canister lasted faithfully until I accidentally sent it down a flight of stairs.

Our family recently purchased the Miele S163 Universal upright for our new vacuum cleaner as we heard it was good for allergies and pet hair while not being too expensive. We decided to add the hepa filter which was a great idea as we have pets in our household. After reading some other reviews we figured this smaller Miele was great for a home like ours which has some carpets and hardwoods without a huge area to clean every week.

I have used the Miele S7580 Bolero upright vacuum cleaner for a month now. One thing I noticed is that it is extremely quiet compared to my old Dirt Devil. There is almost zero exhaust odor as well and my carpets are in better condition now than I have ever seen them! This upright vacuum is a joy to use without question.
The swivel neck moves the vacuum very well and with the carpet brush toggle turned on, the vacuum powers itself forward. It's almost like using a self propelled mower. Vacuuming with the Bolero is a joy, not a chore and I look forward to cleaning believe it or not.

I purchased the Miele S524 canister vacuum cleaner 3 1/2 years ago. The wand has been replaced twice (once under warranty and once at my expense). I just paid to have the cord replaced and the wand is cutting out again. I spoke with a representative at the company who indicated that it is operator error. Instead of pressing the foot pedal to retract the wire, it is necessary to hold it and let it gently go back in. The wand failure is my fault because I don't have the power setting and carpet level set correctly.

The Miele Capricorn canister vacuum cleaner, equipped with the 236 power nozzle is probably the best tool to win the war against pet hair and other allergens. There simply is not a better power nozzle that I could find for this cleaning task. We have a large sheep dog in our home who is constantly shedding and making a mess of our nice rugs. It is my personal mission to keep the house free from his clumps of white hair. With constant vacuuming in all of the rooms we need a cleaner that could do the job so we looked at many canisters. Obviously the best known name was Miele.
