If you have a lot of hard floors in your house and have multiple pets then the Dirt Devil Breeze canister vacuum is a great cleaner to have. It is very lightweight with a small footprint, and is simple to store when you are done vacuuming. My wife loves it because it is so light and rolls around with no problem but I usually strap it on my back. These relatively inexpensive vacuums do a good job around our home.

One thing we don't like about the Breeze is the suction could be a little better, especially since it has a 12 amp motor. Maybe the HEPA filter requires more, but regardless it seems like it could be more powerful. The house does seem to get quite clean with each use but we find ourselves emptying the dust canister after every room. Not a big deal though as it guarantees that there is enough room for more dirt. It also would be nice to have a cord retraction mechanism but it would raise the weight of the vacuum cleaner. It's not a big enough deal to me to warrant the extra weight.

Overall this Dirt Devil canister is well thought out and built quite nicely. We find ourselves using it more often because it works so well. If you have carpets all over your house you might want a more expensive and bigger vacuum but for a house with a mix between hard floors and carpets this works fine.
