Dirt Devil Versa Power All-in-One Stick Vacuum

The Dirt Devil Versa Power is obviously not supposed to be your main household vacuum cleaner. This is where a lot of the negative reviews I have found get it wrong. It's just not designed to deep clean your carpets. There are much larger and more expensive vacuums for that. However, it is ideal for small jobs and small spaces. It's very lightweight and has good suction power for those small messes that seem to pop up on a daily basis.

I live in a small apartment and actually use the Versa Power as my primary cleaning tool. The multi functional use makes it great for various needs and situations. In my case a full sized vacuum would be a waste of money but most people will use this Dirt Devil as a complement to their larger vacuum cleaner, and that is perfect.

The performance is real good, even better than you would expect. It picks up crumbs and small pieces of dirt with zero problems but if the debris is larger it won't be able to remove it. Again, if you use it for what it was designed for then you will have no problems with the performance. I also really like the design of the unit. It's very light, easy to put together, and easy to put into storage. The hand vacuum is nice but doesn't seem to have the power of the stick. One thing that is nice is the hand vacuum has a small attachment to get into very tight spots.

I give the Dirt Devil Versa Power 4 stars and would have given it 5 if the hand vac was a little more powerful. It works great for what it was designed to do and I'd buy it again.
