Dyson DC25 Ball All Floors Upright Vacuum Cleaner

I have wanted to buy a Dyson for a long time but just couldn't get myself to spend the money on one. I always settled for cheaper vacuums but they never lasted for more than a couple years. This time I decided to buy something better and decided on the Dyson DC25 Ball All Floors upright.

It's actually lighter than I expected and it fits nicely in my closet when I'm not vacuuming with it. It is so light that I can easily carry it up and down the stairs which is a must as I'm not going to ask my husband to move it around the house for me. There really are many unique features on it so I'm not sure where to begin. The ball design is probably the thing that stands out the most and makes this one of the most maneuverable vacuum cleaners you will ever use. The cleaning head is also very low profile so you can easily get up close and under things that bigger uprights cannot.

The power on this is absolutely great. I find that it sucks up everything in its' path. They aren't kidding when they say their vacuums don't clog. It does a great job on pet hair and the HEPA filter seems to be working as advertised. It is hard to tell if it's removing all the allergens but the air that comes out seems very fresh. Sometimes on my older (cheaper) ones the air just wouldn't smell right, almost like there was dust in it. Definitely not a problem with the Dyson DC25.

Putting it together was easy too. It didn't even take any tools, just snap a few pieces together and you are good to go. The various attachments have tremendous suction as well. I can reach just about anything I need to with the long extension handle to those cobwebs really don't stand a chance. The one thing I would try to improve is to have an attachment better suited for cleaning stairs. I think if they just made the tool a little bit wider then it wouldn't take quite as long to finish my staircase. To be honest this was always a problem with my other vacuum cleaners so I've just learned to take my time.

All in all I highly recommend the Dyson DC25 Ball. While it costs more than a lot of other upright vacuums I don't think I'll have to replace it for a LONG time. I'm confident it will pay for itself in just a few short years and when I'm enjoying my ultra clean house over and over again. I usually don't get excited over a vacuum cleaner but for this one I'll make an exception. I really love this Dyson!
