I bought the Miele S2120 Delphi canister vacuum cleaner about 8 months ago after doing a lot of research. My research consisted of reading reviews mostly but I also looked over the specs of many different vacuums. I even put these into a spreadsheet for quick comparison and after doing this I could tell that Miele was the way to go. While I know that it is not cheap I decided to spend the money for a vacuum that would do the job right.

Some of the things I was looking for was it had to be a bagged model, have a quality HEPA filter (we have pets), and was light enough to carry up the stairs. The S 2120 is all of this and more as it is super lightweight, very quiet during use, and very effective at vacuuming up just about anything in its' path. This canister is so quiet that I can vacuum while talking on the phone, seriously. And I wanted one that used bags because I have found that the bagless models let too much dust back into your home. The Miele bags seal right up when you take them out.

I actually enjoy using it too which results in me vacuuming more often than before. The adjustable suction is great for my different floors as I can turn it down for light cleaning and back up for heavy cleaning of the carpets. And something that I think is really cool is you don't have to change the attachment when going from one type of floor to another. You actually use the same head attachment and just push a button on the hand controls. This is a big time saver. This attention to detail is something that Miele is known for. I just love the S2120 Delphi.
