Oreck Quest Pro Canister Vacuum Review

Pretty solid with more suction power than you think

I decided to buy the Oreck Quest Pro a few weeks ago because I wanted a canister that had more power than most others. I had an Oreck upright for a while and loved it but when it was time to replace it I decided on a canister. We have pretty much every type of floor in our home so we needed something that was versatile. These vacuums sure did fit the bill.

Overall it is built very well but that's what you would expect from an Oreck, and the reason why you pay more for one. I did have to buy some extra attachments because the included brush wasn't quite up to par for what I needed. The power head works well and seems to pull the dirt out of our carpets. Also, the hard floor attachment has attached wheels which is a nice feature. Seems like they put a lot of thought into that particular accessory. However, I did have problems with the automatic cord rewind at first but the problem seems to have gone away. No idea what happened with that.

I'm pretty happy with the Quest Pro as the suction is powerful, it's lightweight, and vacuums very well. I give it 4 stars because of the extra attachment I needed to buy. They could have done a better job with the brush for the money I spent. Not a deal breaker but something that should be improved.
